Pakistan ‘A’ are currently practicing at the ICCA in Dubai Sports City as part of their preparations for the upcoming T20I series against Australia & New Zealand. Four out of six games will be played at Dubai International Stadium.

Pakistan ‘A’ have played two practice matches so far, both against New Zealand A. In the first match they bundled New Zealand ‘A’ for 65 to lay the platform for a comfortable win. Their young sensation, Shaheen Afridi, who took three wickets, expressed his eagerness to make a mark in the upcoming T20Is.

‘We are going to play against Australia first. It’ll be a challenge. Hoping to prepare well and then perform well as well. ‘

The young Turk has fond memories of playing at Dubai International stadium in PSL and will be eyeing to put his strongest foot forward against the two visiting teams from the down under.

‘I really enjoy playing in Dubai. I have had some memorable outings, especially against Multan Sultans in PSL. I love the atmosphere.’

Pakistan ‘A’ lost to New Zealand A in the second practice game by 7 wickets. They’ll be playing the third and final practice T20 on October 17 at ICCA.

Pakistan have played 21 T20Is in Dubai, won 11 and lost 10.
