Pakistan Army won the National Inter Department Men Netball Championship 2018 held at PSB Coaching Centre, Karachi, with the collaboration of Pakistan sports Board.
Final match was played between Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force teams. Pakistan Army won the match by 45-32 goals declared the champion. Zahid Iqbal and Usman Bashir shows outstanding performance from Pakistan .
3rd position was played between Pakistan Wapda and Pakistan Police teams. Pakistan Wapda won the match by 58-16 goals and secured 3rd position, while Fifth Position match was played between Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Railway teams. Pakistan Navy won the match by 31-10 goals and secured 5th position.
Final Ranking:
1st : Pakistan Army
2nd: Pakistan Air Force
3rd: Pakistan Wapda
4th: Pakistan Police
5th: Pakistan Navy
6th: Pakistan Railway
The technical official namely Shazia Yousaf, Yasir Javed, Yasmeen Zareen, Adnan Ghouri, Aftab Iqbal, Muhammad Imran, Shoukat Mehmood, Muhammad Munir, Areeb Hussain and Fahad Ali Pirzada were supervised the matches.
Mr. Mudassar Razak Arain , President, Pakistan Netball Federation was the Chief Guest on closing ceremony and distributed the trophies, medals, certificates among the players/ teams. Pakistan Netball Federation also awarded the “All Star Players: to Muhammad Akhtar(GS), Abdil Ali Ansari (GA), Mehboob Shah (WA), Ahmed Jan (C), Azhar Saleem (WD), Naseeb Raza (GD), Muhammad Khursheed (GK). On this occasion Muhammad Riaz, Secretary, PNF, Ajaz ul Haque, Secretary, SNA, Syed Gohar Raza, Manager Sports IBA University, Syed Intesar Haider, Regional Sports Coordinator, City School Southern Region, Maqbool Ahmed, Secretary, PTF and other dignities were also present.
