Pakistan had an eventful start to the day 2 by dismissing Amla off the second over of the day; He was bowled by Abbas of a ball that turned 34cm off the wicket. De Bruyn joined skipper Du Plessis and both took their side to 149 when Shaheen got de Bruyn for 13 and Pakistan sensed a major comeback in the game but Bavuma and Du Plessis steadied the ship and surpassed Pakistan’s score, taking their side to lunch at 188/4
