Fujairah, Sharjah & ECB registers win on the Day 7 of D10 League

On the day 7 of Emirates D10 tournament, Sharjah Bukhatir XI took on Dubai Pulse secure, as Sharjah Bukhatir XI won the toss and elected to bat, with Renjth and Khalid Shah began the innings. Khalid was undone by Shafaqat for 1. While Renjth and  Fayyaz held the innings together by scoring quick runs. Renjth made 20 off 8 balls, while Fayyad made 31 off 19 balls. A late surge from Rizwan Cp and Ali Anwaar took Sharjah to a competitive total of 126/7 in 10 overs. Fahad picked up 22/3.

Chasing a fighting total of 127, Dubai pulse secure lost Fahad Nawaz early on, Adnaan Khan was joined by Faizan for the 2nd wicket. But Faizan was dismissed for a duck. Ibthisam made 4, Aagham made 3. But Adnaan Khan kept the hopes alive with an unbeaten 53 off 25 balls, but Dubai Pulse secure could only manage 111/6 off 10 overs. Gk Gkreshan picked up 8/2.

The second game of the day was played between Ajman Alubond and ECB Blues. ECB blues opted to bowl first after winning the toss. Ameer Hamza and Zawar provided a decent opening stand of 48 in 4 overs. As Zawar was undone for 14, while Ameer Hamza made 42 off 18 balls, but no one else helped the team’s cause; Sandy made 6, Amjad got out for a duck, as Ajman only managed 74/8 in 10 overs. Adhitya picked up 8/4. Chasing an easy total of 75, Chirag Suri was dismissed for 8, but Vrithiya’ 36, and Boota’ 15, helped ECB blues to win the game by 8 wickets in 5.3 overs.

 

The third game of the day was played between Fujairah Pacific Ventures and Dubai Pulse Secure. Fujairah Pacific Ventures won the toss and elected to bat, but lost the key wicket of Waseem for a duck. Kaleem made 4, but Asif Khan held the inning’s together by scoring 41 off 19 balls. A late surge from Ali Shan and Usman took Fujairah Pacific Ventures to 108/5 in 10 overs. Faisal picked up 11/2. Chasing a target of 109, Fahad Nawaz and Adnaan provided a decent opening stand, but no one else stick together. Adnaan made 10, Fahad Nawaz made 32. Fahad Tariq was dismissed for 1, Usman made 17, as Dubai Pulse Secure managed 86/7 in 10 overs, as Fujairah Pacific Ventures won the game by 22 runs.
