Sindh bad run continues, while Imam leads Baluchistan to another win.

The second last day of the Multan leg started with Sindh taking on KPK in the first game, with Sindh looking to put behind the miserable performance of the last day, while KPK looked to continue their dominance.

Rizwan put Sindh to bat first, as Shaheen delivered an early punch as he removed Khurram Manzoor for 17, Azam couldn’t get going this time, as he too was dismissed by Shaheen for 3. Ahsan Ali and Sharjeel Khan build a solid platform for Sindh by scoring quick runs. Sharjeel raced to a half-century off 32 balls, as he pressed the accelerator to score 90 off 56 balls.

Ahsan Ali made 42 off 32, as Sindh ended at 183/7 in 20 overs. Shaheen Shah Afridi remained a standout performer for his figures of 21/5

KPK’ innings had a disastrous start, as Anwar Ali removed Rizwan for 8. Hafeez and Fakhar then ampled the innings in a formidable way, as the pair put on 100 runs for the 2nd wicket stand in 9 overs, Fakhar made a ‘comeback to form’ half-century in 34 balls, before perishing for 61. Hafeez continued his sublime form, as he along with Iftikhar took KPK home by 19 over’s. Professor remained unbeaten at 72 off 42 balls, while Iftikhar scored 40 off 21 balls.

Central Punjab were up against Baluchistan in the 2nd game of the day, as Baluchistan batted first after winning the toss, with Imam continuing his good form by getting to a half-century off 32 balls. Awais Zia provided a solid contribution to 36. Captain Haris Sohail, made a brief 23, before the typical ‘Pakistani’ batting collapse, as Baluchistan lost 4 wickets for 12 runs. Imam scored briefly in the latter part of the innings to take Baluchistan to 168/8, as he remained unbeaten at 80 off 55 balls. Ehsan Adil picked up 40/3

Chasing 169, Kamran started aggressively but fell to Umar Gul for 25 off 15 balls. Abdullah and Abid steadied the ship by adding 30 for the 2nd wicket in 5 over’s, Abid was dismissed for a struggling 19. Abdullah Shafiq scored a magnificent half-century, while Rizwan made 22, but the required run-rate climbed up, as Central Punjab needed 35 off the last 3 overs, with Qasim and Zafar, but could manage 31 only and ended up losing the game by 4 runs. Umar Gul picked up 37/4.
