Fujairah’s unbeaten run continues in D20, as Dubai outplayed Ajman.

Day 7 of the Emirates D20 begun at the Dubai Sports City, with ECB Blues took on Fujairah.

Fujairah batted first with Waseem and Rohan begun the innings. Rohan was dismissed early on for 5 only, but Waseem and Usman’s partnership held the Innings together for Fujairah, as they put on 38 runs for 2nd wicket. Waseem made 39, while Usman scored a brisk 51 off 36 balls. Lovepreet was dismissed for a duck, but Sandy Sandeep’s 27 and Ahmed Raza’s 15 helped Fujairah to put on 153/6 in 20 overs. Chasing 154, Vriitya and Rizwan CP provided a decent opening stand of 26 in 3 overs, as Rizwan was dismissed for 13, while Vriitya madr 32. Captain Basil was runout for a duck, as pressure loomed on ECB Blues. Ansh smoked three sixes in his knock of 36, while Aryan made an unbeaten 37, but ECB could only manage 139/9 in 20 overs, and lost the game by 14 runs. Sabir Rao picked up 13/4
2nd game of the day saw, Dubai taking on Ajman, as Dubai batted first with Adnaan Khan scored a quick fire 43 off 18 balls, Hassan’s half century came off 41 balls, while Shahrukh’s 48 off 34 balls, helped Dubai to put on 186/5 in 20 overs.
Chasing 187, Asif Khan single handedly lead the charge for Ajman, as he scored a scintillating hundred off 65 balls. Abdul Shakoor contributed with 23 off 13 balls, while Rameez’s 34 took Ajman close the victory but some good death bowling by Keswani helped Dubai to win the game by 3 runs. Kiswani picked up 23/1 in 4 overs

Last game of the day was between Sharjah and Fujairah, as Sharjah batted first with Khalid Shah and Renjith providing a good opening stand, as Khalid made an impressive half century with 60 off 47 balls, while Renjith scored 20 off 16 balls. Captain Fayyaz was dismissed for 7, while some late surge from Umair Ali took Sharjah to 153/7 in 20 overs. Hassan picked up 17/3

Chasing 154, Waseem and Rohan Mustafa provided an aggressive start as Waseem hit 3 sixes in his knock of 45 from 33 balls, while Rohan made 13 off 17 balls. Usman Khan continued his good form in the tournament, as he scored yet another half century by making 62 off 38 balls, as Sandy Sandeep’s quick 14 helped Fujairah to chase 154/5 in 18.5 overs.
