Fujairah took on Abu Dhabi in the first game of Day 8, as Waseem Muhammad provided a brilliant opening stand as he continued his good form by scoring 82 off 50 balls, with 6 sixes. Rohan Mustafa scored 16. Sandy Sandeep chipped in with 18, as Fujairah manged 167/6 in 20 overs.
Chasing 168, Surjith and Soorya begun the innings for Abu Dhabi, as Surjith made a fighting 32 off 32 balls. Soorya was undone for 1. Midhun made 20. Irfan Khan was undone a duck, leaving his side in trouble at 50/3. Sahil made 28, but the tailenders efforts weren’t enough, as Abu Dhabi could only manage 128/9 in 20 overs, as Fujairah won the game by 45 runs.
Second game of the day saw, ECB Blues taking on Sharjah. Aryan and Vriitya begun the innings for ECB Blues. Aryan was dismissed early for 8. Vriitya made a handful 40. Ali Shan made 56 off 47 balls. Waheed Ahmed made 17, as ECB Blues ended up at 138/5 in 20 overs. Kashif Daud picked up 36/3
Chasing 139, Khalid Shah and Renjith begun the Innings as Renjith was dismissed for duck. Khalid made 24 off 19 balls. Captain Fayyaz was trapped in front by Waheed for 16. Kashif Daud and Badiuzzama were undone for a duck. Umair Ali’s quick fire 33 weren’t enough, as Sharjah could only manage 118, and they ended up losing the game by 20 runs. Waheed picked up 15/3
Last game of Day 8 saw, Abu Dhabi taking on Dubai. Abu Dhabi batted first with Surjith made a decent 16. Midhun was dismissed for a duck. Aaryan made 1, while Sahil was dismissed for a duck. Abu Dhabi were in deep trouble as they lost last 5 wickets for 22 runs, as they were bundled out for 68 in 17 over’s. Ali Naseer picked up 23/3
Chasing an Early target of 69, Usman made an impressive 20, while Bilal Cheema made a decent 22, while Haider Shah made 10, as Dubai chased the target in 13th over. Matiullah picked up 24/2
